Wind Turbines - Harnessing Wind Energy in Ireland
Ireland is envied world over for its greatest natural resource – wind. Being a small island at one side of the Atlantic Ocean means we have one of the best locations in the world for wind turbines!
Pure Energy Technology has been fitting
both domestic and commercial wind Turbines in Ireland since 2001. We have a great understanding of the business and what actually works and doesn’t work in Ireland. We have seen first hand the difference in quality of different machines and therefore can take that knowledge forward and sell good quality turbines.
We are a leading reseller of “Proven” Wind Turbines. Proven is a Scottish company with a worldwide reputation for supplying robust, reliable
and elegant wind turbines to the harshest of environments. The patented Proven Flexible Blade System enables the wind turbine to generate power in light or strong winds.
A top quality generator will not work on it’s own. We use SMA Windy Boy inverters to convert the “dirty” fluctuating power of the turbine into clean constant power that can be fed into your house hold, business or farm supply.
Products
THE PROVEN 2.5KW Wind Turbine
The robust Proven 2.5 can be used to power small lighting systems in commercial premises.
The Proven 2.5EX is widely used on off-shore oil platforms, as it is the only turbine in the world that is totally explosion-proof. Generating electricity from a wind turbine helps to cut down CO2 emissions and reduces climate change levy charges.
